Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center - DLIFLC is regarded as one of the finest schools for foreign language instruction in the U.S. Resident instruction is provided at the Presidio of Monterey in 24 languages and several dialects, five days a week, seven hours per day, with two to three hours of homework each night. Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL) Project - For the purposes of this project, less commonly taught languages include all of the world's languages except English, French, German, and Spanish.
