Cabinet Office (UK) - A department of the Government of the United Kingdom responsible for supporting the Prime Minister and Cabinet of the United Kingdom.
Canada Department of Justice - Headed by the Deputy Minister, who provides advice and support to the Minister and acts as the main interface between the political and administrative functions of government. A medium-sized department with around 5,000 employees. Roughly one half of departmental staff are lawyers. The other half is made up of a broad range of professionals, including paralegals, social scientists, program managers, communications specialists, administrative services personnel, computer service professionals, and financial officers.

European Parliament - The European Parliament represents, in the words of the 1957 Treaty of Rome, 'the peoples of the States brought together in the European Community'. Some 375 million European citizens in 15 countries are now involved in the process of European integration through their 626 representatives in the European Parliament. The European Parliament, which derives its legitimacy from direct universal suffrage and is elected every five years, has steadily acquired greater influence and power through a series of treaties. These treaties, particularly the 1992 Maastricht Treaty and the 1997 Amsterdam Treaty, have transformed the European Parliament from a purely consultative assembly into a legislative parliament, exercising powers similar to those of the national parliaments. Northern Ireland Office - The role of the Northern Ireland Office is to support the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland in securing a lasting peace, based on the Good Friday Agreement. Republic of Srpska - Official site. Note: The frontiers of the Republic of Srpska have been defined by the internationally recognized border with Yugoslavia and the Republic of Croatia and the inter-entity boundary with the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both these lines were established with no regard to basic principles of delineation between peoples (ethnic, historical, natural-geographic, functional-economic, military-strategic).

Electoral Commission - Independent body set up by the UK Parliament. Registers political parties; makes sure people understand and follow the rules on party and election finance; set the standards for running elections and report on how well this is done.
