National Marine Bankers Association (NMBA)/MarineBankers - Created in February 1980 to respond
to the need of additional and consistent sources of marine financing within the entire marine industry. The boating industry uses two
primary forms of financing assistance: loans for customers to buy boats and loans for retailers to inventory new boats and motors. Much of
the credit extended to the industry is from members of the NMBA. Membership in the NMBA includes banks, savings
institutions and financial service firms that extend credit to consumers, retailers, and manufacturers of recreational boats and equipment.
National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) - The trade association representing the U.S.
recreational boating industry. Members include manufacturers of all categories of boats, engines, trailers, electronics, accessories, and
components. Affiliated members include marina owners/operators, marine lenders, insurers, publications, service providers. World's biggest
producer of boat shows. Promotes and protects the interests of all stakeholders in recreational boating.
