Litseen - The purpose of Litseen is to strengthen the San Francisco Bay Area literary community. It does this by creating and maintaining an extensive video archive of readings, publications, and other written and/or spoken word events, and by providing written coverage of the burgeoning literary community in San Francisco, with an up-to-date calendar of events, event reviews, interviews of local authors, book reviews, and more.
Poetry Center - The Poetry Center hosts two annual seasons, Spring and Fall, of public literary readings located on the SFSU campus and in numerous public venues throughout San Francisco.
Porchlight: A Storytelling Series -
San Francisco's premier storytelling series. Each month, co-founders Beth Lisick and Arline Klatte invite six people from different backgrounds to tell ten-minute stories without using notes or memorization. Past storytellers include some of the area's most entertaining school bus drivers, mushroom hunters, politicians, socialites, sex workers, musicians, authors, systems analysts, and social workers.
