Digital Karnak -
The Digital Karnak Project aims to make the site of Karnak more accessible to students and instructors in the English-speaking world. The features of this website have been designed to provide college classrooms (and the interested public) with easily accessible, up-to-date, expert material relating to the temple precinct. As part of this goal, a 3-D virtual reality model of the temple was constructed, offering students a completely new way to view the temple: reign-by-reign, following the complex patterns of royal construction, modification and destruction that are now obscured by tShe latest building phases at the site. Footage of this model, as well as original videos and maps, are accompanied by thematic essays written and reviewed by Egyptologists to supply students and instructors with reliable information in a digital and visually dynamic platform. A simplified version of the virtual reality model of the temple is also made available in Google Earth, for a completely interactive experience.
Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection - Cairo, Egypt. The impressive collection of the Egyptian Museum includes masterworks belonging to different epochs of ancient Egypt: statues reliefs as well as monumental pieces of Egyptian architecture document the different time periods of ancient Egypt from 4000 BC up to the Roman Period. In addition to the bust of Queen Nefertiti, whose original colour is preserved without restoration since the Amarna period, other pieces such as the sculptured portraits of the royal family and members of the royal court are also unique. The most significant work of the late period is the so called Berlin "Green Head" named after its greenish stone (ca. 500 BC).

National Park Service: National Archeological Database (NADB) Permits - Provides access to information about significant archeological and paleontological projects carried out during the history of U.S. federal archeology. The records in the database are for permits issued by the Department of the Interior under the Antiquities Act of 1906 and the Archaeological Resource Protection Act (ARPA) of 1979. A few records are for permits issued after the granting authority was delegated to individual federal agencies in 1984.
National Archeological Database (NADB) Reports Query Form - An expanded bibliographic inventory of approximately 240,000 reports on U.S. archeological investigation and planning, mostly of limited circulation. This "gray literature" represents a large portion of the primary information available on archeological sites in the U.S. NADB-Reports can be searched by state, county, worktype, cultural affiliation, keyword, material, year of publication, title, and author.
